Volunteers

Like every association, we depend on the support of many volunteer golfing enthusiasts. Whether they are on the Board, on committees, acting as course raters, referees or volunteers helping out at events – we are grateful to all those who work to support golf in Switzerland.

How do I become a volunteer?

We are delighted at the dedication of many volunteers who help Swiss Golf and the sport of golf in Switzerland. If you are interested in becoming involved, please contact our Executive Unit at info@swissgolf.ch

Handicap Course Rater

Our Course Raters work out the rating of our Swiss golf courses according to international standards. They swing into action, in particular, when a course is being newly built or rebuilt.

Referees

Our referees play an important part in national tournament activity. Every tournament organised by Swiss Golf, as well as some other bigger tournaments, are supported by Swiss Golf referees. It is their duty to ensure fair general sporting conditions at the tournament and that the rules of golf are followed. How do I become a referee?
