U14

We invite the girls and boys to take part in the U14 regional and national events on the juniors calendar. They can qualify for the Swiss Golf Final U14 according to the Order of Merit.

Objectives

Set up a juniors network with young people from at least 15 other clubs
Through good Order of Merit qualification, improve the chances of being admitted to an elite squad.

If they meet the handicap conditions, U14 juniors can take part in the National Junior Championships and in tournaments for older juniors.

Regional Qualification

U14 “Regional Events” in the clubs of the respective region.

If a tournament is being held in their own group on that day, they are allowed to play only there.

18-hole stroke play gross, front tees
HCP: Girls 35.0; Boys 30.0
Dates up to 30/09/2021
A maximum of 6 tournaments per group and 4 national U14s are held, at least 4 of which count towards the Order of Merit and admission to the final.

The Nationals U14 Events

Swiss Golf organises a total of four national U14 championships with 90 players each, who come to compete from all over Switzerland. These championships count towards the Order of Merit for U14.

The U14 Swiss Final

The U14 Final brings together the best 30 Boys and best 15 Girls of the OM U14 and is held on two days over 36 holes stroke play from front tees.

Swiss Golf Championship U14

The best 60 Boys and 30 Girls of Swiss nationality compete over two 18-hole rounds of stroke play from the front tees for the Swiss Champion U14 title.

Junior Match Play Masters

The top 6 players of the respective Order of Merit (girls and boys U14/U16/U18) are invited.

Match play gross is played over 9 holes
Everyone plays once against every other competitor in his/her category, 5 matches in total.
There is 1 point per match won.
The girls and boys with the most points are Junior Match Play Masters.

Swiss Golf Girls Generation Championship 2020

Girls Generation Championship

Only ladies from the same family but from different generations can take part in this championship.

Per team, a maximum handicap of 70.0 is stipulated. 18-hole Stableford greensomes are played.
