At national level, the U18 girls and boys can take part in the Junior Tour Events as well as playing for the Swiss Champion U18 title.

In addition, the opportunity is offered to the juniors to take part in the Swiss Golf Championships for adults, which count towards the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).

Junior Tour Events

For ambitious juniors who play golf as a competitive sport, we offer the 11 Junior Tour Events as a platform. This tournament series consists of 6 qualifying tournaments with 120 players each, who are selected according to handicap. After that, 5 tournaments with the best-placed in the Order of Merit are held, included the Junior Tour Final.

1st stage - 6 qualifying tournaments

  • 36 holes on two days, stroke play, gross, back tees

2nd stage - 4 tournaments 

  • 54 holes on two days, stroke play, gross, back tees

3rd stage - Junior Tour Final  

  • 54 holes on two days, stroke play, gross, back tees



Swiss Golf Championship U18

The best 33 girls and 69 boys with a Swiss passport play for the title of Swiss Champion.

1st + 2nd day  

  • 18 holes, stroke play, gross, back tees
  • 33 Girls und 69 Boys
  • The cut is made after 36 holes

3rd day

  • 36 Loch, Stroke Play, Brutto, Back Tees
  • 15 Girls, 30 Boys

As the U16s line up together with the older juniors, they can also become U18 Swiss Champion in the context of this tournament.

Junior Match Play Masters

The top 6 players in the respective Order of Merit (Girls and Boys U14/U16/U18) are invited.

  • Gross match play is played over 9 holes
  • Everyone plays once against every other competitor in his/her category, with 5 matches in total.
  • There is 1 point per match won.
  • The Girls and Boys with the most points are Junior Match Play Masters.

Girls Generation Championship

Only ladies from the same family but from different generations can take part in this championship.

Per team, a maximum handicap of 70.0 is stipulated. 18-hole Stableford greensomes are played.
