PRO Tournaments in Switzerland

The most important tournament by far in Switzerland has been held in Crans-Montana since 1939. Since the European Tour was established in 1972, the Omega European Masters of today has been part of the most significant tournament series in Europe. The prize money is currently EUR 2 million.

At the second highest level, the Challenge Tour, two events take place in Switzerland every year. The Swiss Challenge at Golf Sempach is traditionally played at the end of May. This is for prize money of EUR 180,000. The Rolex Trophy at Geneva Golf Club follows this every August. A small field plays in the pro-am format here for a total of EUR 250,000.

In early July, the best senior players in Europe meet for the traditional Swiss Seniors Open in Bad Ragaz. In this, the over-50 pros play for a prize pot of EUR 320,000.

Since 2020, the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open, a tournament of the Ladies European Tour (LET), has been held at Golfpark Holzhäusern.

At the second highest level, the LET Access Series, five tournaments have been taking place at once at Swiss golf courses since 2019.

In May, the Flumserberg Ladies Open in Gams and the  Lavaux Ladies Open are held. In each case, the prize money is EUR 40,000 to 50,000.
